UPCOMING EVENTS

Come and join us.

Our events are open to anyone affected by breast cancer - patients, people in treatment or recovery, those living beyond diagnosis, and the families, friends and carers alongside them. Everything is informal. There is no pressure to share, no agenda and no expectation. Just good conversation, a warm space and a cup of something hot.

Coming for the first time?

We know that turning up somewhere new can feel daunting - especially when you're already carrying a lot.

Here's what to expect: you'll be welcomed at the door, there will be tea and coffee, and there is absolutely no pressure to talk about anything you're not ready to talk about. You can bring someone with you. You can sit quietly. You can just listen. Everyone here has been touched by breast cancer in some way. You'll find your people.

Moving for you

Moving for You is a gentle restorative movement class from Cups & Courage, led by guest practitioner Issy from Purefitness, for people receiving treatment or recovering from cancer.

Designed for those navigating low energy, fatigue and ongoing recovery, the class combines gentle meditative movement with elements of Pilates, yoga and rehabilitation techniques in a calm, supportive environment.

The sessions are designed to support limb mobility, strength maintenance and emotional release, while also offering space to reconnect with your body at your own pace. This is not about pushing through. It is about moving in a way that feels manageable, supportive and restorative.

Whether you are in treatment, recovering, or adjusting to life afterwards, Moving for You offers a welcoming space to move gently, build confidence and feel supported.

COFFEE & CONNECT

Coffee & Connect is our monthly coffee morning - a warm, welcoming space for anyone navigating life during or after breast cancer.

Hosted by Cups & Courage at The Bagnall Centre in Chesham, it’s a chance to pause, have a coffee, meet others and spend time with people who understand. Alongside informal conversation and connection, some sessions will also include guest speakers, shared advice and gentle discussion around topics that matter.

That might be practical advice, lived experience, supportive conversation, or simply hearing from someone whose perspective helps you feel a little less alone.

There’s no pressure to speak, no expectation to share, and no need to arrive knowing anyone. Some people may come for the conversation, some for the company, and some just to be in the room. However you arrive, you’ll be met with warmth.

We know walking into something new can feel daunting, especially when life already feels heavy. That’s why Coffee & Connect is designed to feel informal, friendly and easy to step into - a place where you can simply come as you are.

GUEST SPEAKERS

We’ll be welcoming guest speakers from across the breast cancer community - from specialist nurses, surgeons and healthcare professionals to wellbeing practitioners, therapists, charities and people with lived experience.

Alongside medical insight, we’ll explore the wider support that can make a real difference during and after treatment, including movement, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, body confidence, mindfulness, complementary therapies and alternative approaches.

These sessions are designed to be informative, honest and supportive - helping people feel more connected, better equipped and less alone as they navigate life with and beyond breast cancer.
